As a part of our efforts of enriching lives and making basic healthcare accessible for all, Nani’s Nook in association with Red Cross Society conducted free health camps in the villages around Ooty, providing succor to over 400 people. Many of these villages have no healthcare facilities or even a qualified healthcare worker. Volunteers from Nani’s Nook , Club Concierge , Junior Red Cross and a team of 45 doctors, nurses and paramedics- battled inhospitable terrain and other adversities to reach the villagers.140 villagers received free spectacles ,83 hearing aids and 118 walking sticks were distributed .16 Cataract surgeries were done successfully.The occasion was graced by the presence of many digintaries .Tmt D .Shanmuga Priya , SP,The Nilgiris , inaugurated the camp along with Mrs Dipali Sikand , Founder & Chairperson , Les Concierge Group .
